As our Senior Consultant, Mike is a front line fire company officer with one of the largest and most respected municipal fire and emergency medical services organizations in the United States. Serving over 1.6 million residents and covering just under 518 square miles, including 60 fire stations, over 2000 employees, it is recognized nationally for its progressive approach to firefighting, EMS, and public safety. 

In 2020 Mike was asked to develop, stand up, and manage the most effective decontamination program in existence in response to the COVID pandemic ravishing our community and workforce. The objective was simple, but monumental: Develop a department-wide, gold standard decontamination program where none existed before that would outlast the current pandemic and remain prepared for whatever challenges lie beyond. It was not lost on us that bio terrorist attacks like the 1995 Tokyo Subway incident could cause rapid and catastrophic death and illness to large public infrastructures. Founded on the best possible plan to meet every aspect of the pandemic and bio challenges head-on and overwhelm it required innovative, out-of-the-box thinking with extremely limited resources. The team consisted of a staff of 30 highly trained and qualified employees operating three rapid deployment emergency decontamination vehicles, 24/7. 

The program's reputation spread, even resulting in working with the presidential protective team during two presidential visits. As a result, Mike received the prestigious Alan Brunacini Special Recognition Award in 2023. The rest as they say, is history. Public Safety, Military, Law Enforcement and EMS agencies around the world have sought his advice on decontamination and infectious disease mitigation strategies. 

Since then we have discovered capabilities to:

• neutralize illicit drug and lab chemicals like Fentanyl, Morphine and Ketamine. 
• neutralize all manner of infectious diseases including SARS, MRSA, HIV, STAPH, blood and fluid borne pathogens.
• irradiate mold and bedbug infestations.
• decontaminate bunker and turnout gear.
• decontaminate and remove PFAS and ALL hazardous particles embedded in PPE producing biodegradable wastewater that can be used in a standard household washer. 
• effectively combat EV LI battery fires rendering biodegradable wastewater.
